There are so many variables. Lit my first TLUD this evening. It was a paint can 1/3 filled with twigs. Far too loose a fill. In spite of that it was good to get started. It was the first time that I made the 5-gallon (20-liter) size with others, and I am glad that they have shared the information with all readers. The above posting brought the information to everyone much faster than if the writing had depended on me, so I am grateful for the SeaChar efforts. Great job!!! There is one error: The site referenced to see a Video and graphic actually shows a simple conventional updraft gasifier, not a TLUD.
