Get Familiar with Our Team of Carbon-Neutral Content Writers

Hello there, and welcome to our blog. Today, we’ll tell you a bit more about our team of non-professionals who try their best to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere. We’ll share what our mission is, as well as the things we do to improve the overall condition of our planet. We truly hope we’ll manage to inspire more people to implement certain changes into their lives that will have a positive impact on the environment.

Who Are We and What Is Our Mission

Our team consists of four young individuals determined to live a carbon-neutral life. We’ve known each other since middle school, and we’ve always shared the same interests when it comes to the environment. One day, we were out to eat, and we were so incredibly disappointed by the number of unnecessary plastic products given at fast-food restaurants.

That was the moment when we decided we wanted to make some kind of change. We are completely aware of the fact that our carbon footprint reduction won’t be that significant, but we believe that even one person is enough to motivate a few other individuals to reconsider their daily choices. The fact that there are four of us makes us quite enthusiastic about the number of people we may inspire to go carbon-neutral.

We sat there, and we thought of what we could do that would spark people’s interest in changing their lifestyle and reducing their greenhouse gas emissions. Marissa, who works at a marketing company, stated that the best way to do that is by creating something that’s easily accessible, free, and engaging. Of course, we immediately thought of making an online blog. And that’s how our platform emerged.

In less than a week, we’ve created our website, written several pieces for the platform, and even planned more than ten articles for the upcoming weeks. Considering how passionate we are about reducing carbon dioxide emissions and saving our planet, it’s far from surprising that the working process was, and still is, super smooth and easy.

How Do We Reduce Our Carbon Footprint

One of the very first things we all stopped doing was driving our cars. In fact, Jacob, who is our editor-in-chief, doesn’t even have a driver’s license because he knew he wouldn’t want to pollute the environment ever since he was 14. Instead of driving, we all reach our destinations on foot or by our bikes.

What’s more, we don’t buy clothes from fast fashion brands. Unfortunately, the majority of shops you see at the shopping mall are part of the fast fashion market. As an alternative, we buy sustainable clothing from local shops, or we purchase them online. Needless to say, we only buy what we need. Over-consumption is another major issue associated with the massive increase in carbon footprint. The more things people buy, the more fossil fuels are being burned.

It goes without saying that none of us uses plastic. In fact, we stopped buying and using plastic products when we were in high school, and we’ve managed to convince our families that they don’t really need straws to drink their water. Marissa, Jacob, and I invested in solar panels a few years ago, and Bradley had recently had his installed.
